KYE ANDERSON

An international racing career and KTM group test and development rider role spanning over a decade has given Kye a unique and well rounded skillset to not only ride and handle a motorcycle correctly and efficiently but set up and “balance” the bike to suit the rider.

Kye is now the leader of ENDEAVOUR MOTORCYCLE TOURS and a GASGAS motorcycles ambassador.

Kye has competed in:

LESLEY FLANAGAN

A lifelong involvement in sport and exercise created not only a solid understanding of nutrition, biomechanics and movement but also a resounding passion. A combination of knowledge of exercise and Lesley's behind the scenes involvement in Kye's racing career has developed a distinct ability to understand that there's more to just "riding a bike". Multiple long-distance treks, including Everest Base Camp make Lesley the perfect other half of ENDEAVOURS adventures. 

Lesley's achievements include:

  • Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science 

  • Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (4th year) 

  • Australian Strength and Conditioning Coach Level 1 

  • Australian Powerlifting Record Holder 

  • 2023 Australian Powerlifting U90s Champion

ITINERARY*

Saturday 

 

730 am:

Rider sign on

WAUCHOPE,NSW

If you drive/trailer your bike you can leave your vehicle here on our property for the day

 

8 am:

Riders briefing

 

8:30 am:

Departure to private property for coaching

 

AM:

How good is this! We will ride out the gate and have an awesome warm up ride all the way to our coaching location. This will give everyone the chance to settle in and get their blood flowing rather than going straight into a skills and drills session.

Upon arrival to our coaching location we will go through all of the key fundamentals to begin your building blocks to becoming an avid adventure rider.

 

Lunchbreak:

ENDEAVOUR will cater on site right where we are coaching.

Feel free to ask us questions during this time!

PM: 

We will continue to build your skillset, compounding on what you have already learnt this morning. An added bonus is that we have an awesome ride back down out of the mountains where we can run some extra drills in live locations plus see some epic views

4pm Finish point:

We will return to our property, the starting point where the vehicles are parked. Head back to your accommodation for a shower and get ready for dinner and the night time seminar.

 

Dinner 630pm:

ENDEAVOUR will cater our patented top notch adventure dinner outdoors on our property where we start and finish each day

 

Night time seminar:

Kick back and take it all in as Kye and Lesley go in depth on all things BIKE PACKING  and adventure

Sunday 

 

730 am:

Day 2 sign on

Meet us back at the same place we met yesterday and had our dinner and seminar last night

8 am:

Riders briefing

 

830 am:

Departure for adventure bike ride and coaching

 

AM:

We will fire the bikes up right after a quick recap on what we have learnt yesterday and you are about to get a taste of the ENDEAVOUR EXPERIENCE that so many fellow adventurers customers have received and keep coming back for.

To begin we will head off straight into the mountains for some epic adventure riding where Kye has some awesome spots stashed away to run some unique drills with some amazing views as back drops. Lookouts and amazing points of interest will only compliment the already great event running

 

Lunchbreak:

Will be catered by ENDEAVOUR in a remote location where you can once again pick our brains with what ever burning questions you have

PM: 

As the final day draws to an end we blaze our way through the epic country side that is ENDEAVOUR’S backyard, with some final drills to finish what will be an action packed learning experience.

 

4pm Finish point:

We will return to our property, the starting point where the vehicles are parked

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Adventurous attitude!

  • Fully registered motorcycle (incl comprehensive insurance)

  • Ambulance Cover

  • Current qualified licence

  • Fully equipped riding gear (we don’t stop for the rain or the cold, THIS IS ADVENTURE!!)

  • Minimum 2ltr hydration backpack

  • Any spare parts your motorcycle may need.

  • YOU MUST HAVE THE PHYSICAL ABILITY TO PICK YOUR MOTORCYCLE UP IF IT FALLS OVER

WHAT BIKE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • This coaching clinic is suited to all adventure style bikes that are capable on gravel and tar roads. It is possible to complete the tour on a four stroke enduro bike also (keep in mind fuel range)

  • Run road legal knobbies or rallye tyres if you like just don’t run pure road going tyres. MAKE SURE THEY ARE NEW OR VERY CLOSE TO NEW CONDITION

  • Ultra heavy duty tubes or a fully functioning tubeless setup

  • Your bike will need a MINIMUM FUEL RANGE OF 200KMS 

  • Full tank of fuel beginning of each day

  • Well maintained motorcycle freshly serviced to assure you have no unwanted dramas

TERRAINS YOUR GOING TO EXPERIENCE

  • This coaching clinic is predominantly private property along with gravel roads with as minimal tar as possible so be sure to have suitable tyres

  • Majority of the roads we will be using are big wide gravel maintained roads, additionally we will use some narrower roads in our more remote sections of the routes

  • There are no big hill climbs

  • There are no big river crossings

  • You will possibly get some wet boots from concrete causeways

  • As the east coast of Aus deals with El Nino there is a chance of some road damage (both gravel and tar) this can be ranging from wheel ruts to loose a surface

  • Saturday and Sunday lunch, snacks and drinks

  • Saturday night dinner PLUS ADDITIONAL SEMINAR

  • Free goodie bag including Endeavour Motorcycle Tours shirt plus other treats!!

  • Snacks/drinks each day (please notify if any dietary requirements)

  • Support vehicles carrying extra luggage & equipment (plus breakdowns)

  • Support vehicle will transport broken down motorcycles

  • First aid trained and equipped tour guides with satellite personal locator for emergency situations

WHAT WE DON'T SUPPLY

  • Accommodation

  • Hire bikes

  • Fuel, all of our routes have fuel point included (we carry 100L for emergency situations)

THERE’S NOT MUCH WE DON’T COVER. THAT’S WHAT SEPARATES US FROM THE PACK

EVENT WEATHER

  • The typical weather up on the mid north coast during November is normally rider friendly but can get a little warm in the sun. Expect highs of 27*C and lows of 15*C keeping you just cool enough to not break a sweat

  • Bring a hat for when you are off the bike and ENDEAVOUR covers the rest like sunscreen, shelter and cold drinks

ACCOMMODATION

  • Unfortunately we do not offer accommodation for this event.

  • We recommend TIMBERTOWN MOTEL (Wauchope) as it is only 10 minutes away from the private property we will starting/finishing and holding the Saturday seminar

  • Camping is unavailable for the Saturday night
